Sage

Sage is a perennial aromatic plant growing as a semi-shrub up to a height of about 60 cm. It is an undemanding herb that thrives well on dry and not very nutritious soils, it likes a very sunny location. You can harvest not only the leaves, but also the young shoots before flowering. Sage offers numerous medicinal effects, it is suitable for external and internal use, sage tea has an anti-inflammatory effect. It is also used as an aromatic spice, especially for fatty meats and fish, it can be added to a spread or made into herbal butter.
